Another highlight is the Cloud Forest that mimics the ecology of the tropical highlands.

Situated on Marina Bay, this park host one of the most recognisable landmarks of Singapore – the Merlion statue with the head of a lion and the body and tail of a fish. It may seem strange at first but the statue symbolises Singapore history with the head representing the city’s first name Singapura meaning the lion city and the tail representing its earlier days as a fishing town.
Singapore Zoo
Get up close and personal with a diverse range of wildlife in this actual jungle which has been divided into eleven different zones and has twelve exhibits. Head to Primate Kingdom to get a glimpse of 39 species of primate or visit the Elephants of Asia exhibit to see five elephants from Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Indonesia. Visitors can go on tours and safaris or attend animal shows or even feed some of the animals.
