Brussels Airlines Has Launched its New Boutique Hotel in the Sky
Take a peek at Brussels Airlines’ newly designed long-haul aircraft
Brussels Airlines has launched a brand new interior design for its intercontinental A330 aircraft which is a part of the airline’s Boutique Hotel concept. The new design has been introduced in collaboration with JPA Design and is set to make passengers enjoy an even more exclusive flight experience, similar what they would do in a boutique hotel with ultimate comfort, modern elements, quality products, delectable culinary options and personal services in a small scale environment, together with Belgian hospitality. This boutique hotel in the air features completely refreshed Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class cabins.
Brussels’ new Economy class cabin aboard the A330 aircraft will provide even more comfort for each and every guest. The cabin will feature a playful kind of design which is inspired by the stunning sunrise on the North Sea, said to represent the warm friendly Belgian hospitality offered by this excellent airline. The seat includes an ergonomic headrest which offers neck support, a decent seat recline, a USB port and excellent entertainment options on a 10.1 inch personal screen. Passengers can also look forward to a tasty international meal accompanied by an aperitif and complimentary wines, beers and spirits.
Brussels Airlines new long-haul aircraft will feature a brand new travel class: Premium Economy, which will be located separately from the other classes, offering a more serene setting with a warm purple and blue design. The Premium Economy seats offer additional privacy and space with 23% more legroom than Economy class and a 38 inch seat pitch. Seats have expanded armrests and larger headrests, a generous seat recline, a 13.3 HD screen which is one of Europe’s largest HD Premium Economy screens, an upgraded dining experience and added extras including a water bottle, hot towel, ice cream and movie snack.
The design of Brussels Airlines new Intercontinental Business Class cabin was inspired by some of the finest boutique hotels around. This luxurious cabin features elegant Belgian designs with Art Nouveau patterns, a 15.6 inch HD screen that can be tilted to suit different seating positions, ergonomic flat-bed seats that can be converted into a 2m flat bed or lounge sofa, a new lighting system which promotes relaxation and sleep, a walk-up self-service bar featuring a choice of famous Belgian beers and 4-course food menus created by famed Michelin-Starred Belgian chefs, as well as international wines, Laurent Perrier champagne and premium Belgian chocolates.
The first newly designed long-haul A330 aircraft will start operations next month.
