Day 1 (Sunday) –DELHI – JAIPUR
Reach the Safdarjung Railway Station by 7.30AM and board the train and enjoy breakfast by 8AM. Proceed to Jaipur with Maharaja Express by 8.30AM. Enjoy lunch onboard in the afternoon and you will reach Jaipur by 2.30PM. Explore City Palace and have a tempting dinner at Rambagh Palace Hotel. Return back to the comfort of Maharaja Express and spend overnight in the train at Jaipur.
Day 2 (Monday) –JAIPUR
Have breakfast onboard by 7.30AM and visit the Amber Fort by 8.30AM. Return back to the train till 12.45 and enjoy lunch onboard. Once done with lunch choose the optional activities like local city tour or spa at a hotel. Dinner onboard and Maharaja Express then will leave for Sawai Madhopur in Ranthambore.
Day 3 (Tuesday) –RANTHAMBORE – FATEHPUR SIKRI
Wake up and proceed for an exciting drive at Ranthambore National Park at 6AM. Return back to the train by 9.30AM and get ready for breakfast by 9.45 AM. The train will start to proceed for Fatehpur Sikri by 10.15AM. Enjoy lunch onboard in the afternoon and you will reach your destination by 2.30PM. Enjoy sightseeing and return back to the train by 6.PM and finally have your dinner onboard and enjoy your overnight stay in the train at Fatehpur Sikri.
Day 4 (Wednesday) –AGRA
You will reach Agra by 6.30AM and get ready to explore Taj Mahal which is one of the iconic attractions of the world and enjoy a champagne breakfast at Taj Khema. Return back to the train by 11AM and relax. Have your lunch onboard and after that choose optional activities like rejuvenating at a spa in a hotel or go for local sightseeing or experience Mohabbat the Taj Show which is a live dance drama best if you want to entertain yourself. Enjoy the delicious dinner onboard and the night train will proceed to Orchha.
Day 5 (Thursday) –ORCHHA – KHAJURAHO
Enjoy breakfast onboard by 6.30AM and deboard at Jhansi to reach Orchha by road. Once you reach you will be taken for the excursion of Orchha Fort and Village Tour by tuk-tuk ride. By 10AM return back to the train as it will proceed to Khajuraho. In the afternoon enjoy lunch onboard. By 3.30PM you will reach Khajuraho and then get ready to explore the iconic Western Group of Temples and then return back to the train. You can enjoy additional activities like spa at a hotel or have fun attending light and sound shows or dance of India shows. Later in the night enjoy dinner onboard. Finally, the same night train will proceed to Varanasi.
Day 6 (Friday) –VARANASI
Have breakfast onboard and get ready to explore Varanasi. In the afternoon enjoy your lunch at Taj Ganges Hotel while enjoying the view. Once you are done with your lunch, you will be taken to explore Sarnath ruins followed by a visit to a silk weaving centre. After that, proceed for a boat ride on the Ganges and get ready to witness the popular evening aarti. Later, enjoy a delicious exclusive vegetarian dinner with Kathak dance at the famous Brij Rama Palace at Ghats. It is definitely a one of a kind experience. Return back to the train by 9PM as the train will proceed to Delhi by 9.15PM.
Day 7 (Saturday) –DELHI
Enjoy breakfast onboard and then in the afternoon have tempting lunch and then finally disembark and bid farewell to the luxurious Maharaja Express.
