Brunei Energy Hub: Delve into the history of Brunei’s oil and gas industry and learn how oil was found in the country and how its mined, refined, and distributed. The Brunei Energy Hub houses four exhibition galleries, a cafeteria, a souvenir shop, and a viewing deck.
Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque: This is one of the most magnificent mosques in the country, named after the 28th Sultan who is also known as the Architect of Modern Brunei. You will be impressed by the structure’s golden dome, towering marble walls, and lagoon housing the historical Mahligai (ceremonial) Barge. The mosque is closed for visitors on Thursdays and Fridays.
Gadong Night Market: This is a key attraction in Brunei and the perfect place to try local food like roti John (flattened burger), ambuyat (made out of sago powder), and satay (meat skewers). A complete meal will cost you no more than BND 3. Part of the fun at the Gadong Night Market is watching your food cooked right in front of you!
Water Village and Boat Trip: Take a scenic boat ride to visit the water village of Kampong Ayer - one of the largest water settlements in Southeast Asia. The Brunei River is home to a lively community; on this trip you’ll be able to explore the Cultural and Tourism Gallery to peek into the village’s rich culture and history and the reason why it is known as "Venice of The East".
Tutong: This charming town is surrounded by small hills and black water lakes; you’ll be mesmerised by its unique beauty and slow pace of life.
