Lake Garda, Italy
I would recommend Lake Garda in Italy for a romantic getaway!
My husband and I shared a special weekend in the resort town of Desenzano del Garda and were in awe of its serene lakeside setting. No tourists here, just locals, so you get an authentic taste of Italy. We enjoyed a boat ride along the lake, waterfront dining with delicious pizza and pasta, a trip to Verona’s vineyards which included a visit to a storybook town, and relaxing coffee mornings (Italian coffee is just divine).

Dubai, United Arab Emirates
My favourite Valentine memories have always been with my parents, as it is when they celebrate their wedding anniversary! We have had some great Valentine together as a family, including in Dubai. It is the perfect destination for couples, friends, and family fun! Our must-see attractions include the beautiful and the tallest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa, Dancing Fountains, Dhow Cruise Dinner, Spice and Gold Souks, and beautiful beaches for relaxing. There are amazing hotels to choose from; in the city, along the beaches, seafront and at the stunning Palm. One of the most unusual and memorable places we enjoyed visiting was the Miracle Gardens – also great for a romantic date as it is filled with flowers!

Sahyadri Trek, India
If you’re the kind that loves adventure, Sahyadri trek in Maharashtra is ideal for you! My sister and I joined a group from Mumbai to visit Devkund Waterfalls which is just 4-hour drive away from the city but a different world altogether. Lush mountains, serene lakes, a river flowing sideways and cascading waterfalls await you. You make your way through the hazy trail in the lush forest, crossing a wooden bridge and just taking in the surrounding natural beauty of Tamhini Ghat. It takes about 90 minutes hike from the base village to reach Devkund waterfalls but you’d find it totally worth the effort, once you sit under the gushing waterfalls and feel your weariness slowly drifting away. You can also opt for overnight camping by the lake to experience all that this thrilling trek offers! I was so impressed with the gorgeousness of Sahyadri range that I am planning to visit again this year.

Dublin, Ireland
My favourite Valentine's getaway would be Dublin. My wife and I managed to book a great deal in Central Dublin at the Westbury Hotel. Although, it was cold in February, the city was great to walk around as we visited Temple Bar, saw the Spire at Dublin, explored the Dublin Flea Market for some shopping, and even managed to see Trinity College. Our hotel deal included a complimentary dinner, and the Westbury also presented us with nice a going-away gift of miniature whisky bottles. Most importantly, both my wife and I got to spend some quality time together.

Singapore
My Valentines memory goes back to Singapore a few years back where we celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Universal Studios along with the entire family. The stay at ‘Eight River Suites’ was romantic with a lovely view of the stream right across the street. The highlight of the trip was watching the aerial view from the ‘Flyer’ with my better half. Singapore is a couple-friendly as well as a family destination, and has something to offer for all age groups. There is so much to see and explore here, especially the SEA Aquarium, Gardens by the Bay and Sentosa Island. Changi airport is an attraction in itself and impresses you the moment you arrive. I would recommend Singapore to everyone! - Amitabh Gaur, Tours Department
Agra, India
What could be better for Valentine than a visit to the Taj Mahal with my better half? Taj Mahal - the white marble beauty symbolises LOVE. Tourists from every corner of the world come here to witness its beauty and try to capture these precious moments in their camera so that they can hold it to their hearts. I felt proud to click pictures with my wife in the same famous spot where renowned people like Hillary Clinton, Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise, and the likes have captured their photos in front of the iconic Taj.
