Bentota

Bentota is such a charming town; there are Buddhist temples to admire, beautiful beaches to relax on, exotic Sri Lankan cuisines to sample and thrilling adventures to embark on including jet skiing and diving. Must visits include The Sea Turtle Protection Association where you have the opportunity to release turtles in the ocean, Bentota Bazaar where you can do some bartering for discounts on traditional items and souvenirs, and the Benthara Galapatha Raja Maha Vihara temple which houses a 25ft Buddha.
