At the weekend in the city, you could head to Boerenmarkt, an organic weekly market on Noordermarkt, where you can shop for vegetables sold by local farmers. Then, spend the afternoon in Vondelpark, a central park full of cycle ways and beautiful lawns, plus ponds, footbridges and footpaths – perfect for that lazy Sunday afternoon.
