A stopover is when you stop in a city on the way to your final destination and spend more than 20 hours in the city before continuing with your journey to your final destination. With our Saudi stopover, you can spend up to 96 hours in transit and use this period to discover the many marvels of this beautiful country.
How does a Stopover work in Saudi?

KSA e-visa
You can obtain an E-visa to enter Saudi Arabia and complete your registration on Saudi official website here , the e visa is mandatory to enter Saudi Arabia.
If you have any difficulties or your nationality does not allow you to apply for an E Visa – please email us for assistance at visa.centre@brightsun.co.in during working hours.
Terms and Conditions:
- The KSA stopover is only permitted in cities where SAUDIA transits. A stopover is only available for passengers transferring via Jeddah (JED) or Riyadh (RUH) Airport.
- The KSA stopover is only permitted in one direction.
- The passengers must be flying to the destination(s) listed below in order to qualify for free accommodation.
- The free accommodation is only applicable for passengers travelling on a return basis.
- Visa fees, cost of travel around the city and any airport transfers are the responsibility of the passenger(s).
- Passengers wishing to benefit from stopover free accommodation service should have a transit duration between two flights lasting 20 hours or more.
- The free accommodation is applicable only for flights operated by SAUDIA. In addition, no codeshare flights are permitted, i.e.the e- ticket must have been issued by Saudi Arabian Airlines and e ticket number must start with “065”.
- To qualify for the stopover free accommodation service, the application must be sent to tours@brightsun.travel at least 120 hours (5 days) before the first flight.
- Passengers using the stopover free accommodation service cannot use the KSA Transit Tour.
- To qualify for the free stopover accommodation service, the outbound and inbound destinations must be from the table below. For example, passengers travelling from London to Dubai are not permitted to take a stopover with free accommodation in KSA.
- Boarding pass and hotel vouchers must be presented during check-in to the hotel. Passengers who do not present their boarding pass or hotel vouchers issued by Brightsun Travel will not be permitted free accommodation service.
- All hotels are provided are subject to the availability, and we cannot guarantee availability of hotels participating in the KSA stopover.
- Brightsun is providing 1 night stay in a 4-Star hotel for Economy Class Flights only in Riyadh and Jeddah.
- Brightsun is providing 2-night stay in a 5-Star hotel for Business Class Flights only in Riyadh and Jeddah.
- Passengers travelling on Free of Charge or discounted tickets are not permitted to use this free accommodation offer.
- The departure and return country of the round trip must be the same to qualify for the stopover. For example, following flights are eligible for stopover: London – KSA - Jakarta –KSA - Manchester. However, London – KSA - Jakarta –KSA - Frankfurt is not possible.
- Hotel vouchers are non-changeable once vouchers have been issued.
- Brightsun Travel will not be held responsible for inaccuracies or errors made by passengers.
- Brightsun Travel reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Stopover accommodation offer at any time.
