Day 01: Negombo 
On arrival at the airport, you will meet our representative and directly get transferred to Negombo. Check-in at the hotel and spend your time at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Negombo hotel 
Day 02: Negombo – Dambulla 
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Dambulla which is approximately 4hrs drive from Negombo. You will also be going for a village tour to observe the day-to-day life, domestic activities and cultural framework of a traditional village. The tour includes a walk through the villages past patches of jungle and Chena cultivations plus a Bull cart ride as well as a catamaran boat ride in the lake. Also, visit a traditional mud house for a Sri Lankan Lunch (Rice and curry) and interact with the locals.  
Later, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Dambulla hotel.  
Day 03: Dambulla – Minneriya National Park – Dambulla 
After breakfast at the hotel, spend your time at leisure. In the afternoon, get transferred to Minneriya National Park to enjoy a 4 X 4 jeep safari at the Minneriya National Park. This National Park is spread across 8889 hectares and is famous for its large population of Elephants who roam around in herd of 100 to 150 in number and seen across water bodies and lake area. Entry is from Ambagaswewa about 6 km from Habarana on the main Habarana Polonnaruwa road. Get ready to spot a wide array of wild animals including Elephants, Buffaloes, Boar, Spotted Deer, Sloth Bear, Sambhur, Crocodiles, Jackals, as well as around 9 kinds of amphibians, 25 kinds of reptiles, and 160 species of birds. 
Afterward, return back to the hotel to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner at your Dambulla hotel.  
Overnight stay in Dambulla. 
 Day 04: Dambulla – Sigiriya – Matale – Kandy 
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a world heritage site and a 5th Century fortress in the Sky. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace on the summit of the 600-foot-high rock. 
Explore the Water Gardens, Fountain Garden, summerhouse, Boulder Gardens and the Caves here and later travel to Kandy. En-route visit Matale spice Garden where you will get to see Cinnamon, Cardamom, Pepper Creepers and all other spice trees, plants and creepers. You can also buy spices here to take back home.  
In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic which houses the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha and is an important landmark in Kandy. Afterward, check in at the hotel and have dinner. Overnight stay in Kandy.  
Day 05: Kandy  
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Kandy city for a local Cooking Demonstration. The cooking class will be led by a local chef who knows all the secrets to a good Sri Lankan dish and would teach you how to cook a typical meal including rice and curry. After cooking the dishes, you can enjoy your meal. Return to Kandy hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 
Day 06: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya 
After breakfast at the hotel travel to Kandy Railway Station to enjoy a scenic train journey to Nuwara Eliya. 
Special Note: We generally obtain first-class train tickets for all our clients, but first-class carriages, with air conditioning, are available only a few. Trains are often cancelled, and we often face challenges in obtaining the tickets due to high demand. Hence, we cannot definite the train tickets to our clients until we get the train tickets in hand. 
After reaching Nuwara Eliya, check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya hotel.  
Day 07: Nuwara Eliya  
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day at leisure. 
Dinner and overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya hotel. 
Day 08: Departure 
Have breakfast at the hotel and spend your time at leisure. Later, get transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
