Day 1: Vancouver
Upon arrival at Vancouver international airport, you’ll make your own way to the Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel for an overnight stay. Vancouver is surrounded by towering mountains and stunning coastlines, and it’s home to plenty of excellent shopping hubs, diverse cultures, amazing food, glistening sky scrapers and boundless outdoor adventures. Depending on your arrival time, you may be able to explore the city at leisure.
Day 2: Vancouver
The Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel is set ideally between the Pacific coastline and the Coastal Mountain Range in the heart of Vancouver’s entertainment district, so it makes for an ideal base for you to explore. You can spend the day discovering Vancouver’s top attractions or perhaps take a ferry to Vancouver Island.
Day 3: Alaska Cruise Begins
You’ll head to the cruise terminal in Vancouver's iconic Canada Palace and check in to your stateroom. The next 7 days will be at sea on the ultimate cruise journey of Alaska, the largest state in the USA with unrivalled natural beauty in the form of picturesque rivers, emerald green pine forests and giant glaciers.Day 4: Cruise of the Inside Passage, Alaska
Look forward to cruising along the enchanting Inside Passage waterway, which stretches all the way from Vancouver to Alaska. You’ll spot some of Alaska’s breath-taking islands and visit towns along the way, and may even spot unique wildlife species which inhabit throughout, including sea lions and whales.
Day 5: Tracy Arm & Juneau, Alaska
Enjoy a cruise along the breath-taking Tracy Arm fjord and admire waterfalls, glacier cliffs, arctic wildlife and close-up vistas of the magnificent Sawyer Glaciers. Afterwards you’ll head south east to Juneau, the capital of Alaska for your first stop. This picturesque little city is home to plenty of shops, restaurants, museums and cafes set amongst dramatic landscapes.
Day 6: Skagway, Alaska
You’ll spend the day discovering Skagway, which is renowned as the world’s best preserved Gold Rush Town. This charming ancient town has a lot to discover with many historic buildings built by gold prospectors, curio shops, local art galleries, seafood restaurants, and the classic White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad.
Day 7: Glacier Bay, Alaska
Day 7 includes a full day cruise through the Glacier Bay National Park & Reserve, which is home to 3.3 million acres of spectacular wilderness, fjords and fascinating wildlife which includes killer and humpback whales and a diverse array of bird species. Make sure you have your camera at the ready!
Day 8: Ketchikan, Alaska
You’ll be exploring the historic town of Ketchikan on day 8. Ketchikan is surrounded by lots of lush green mountainsides, and it’s renowned for having an idyllic setting and Alaskan Native cultures, as well as delicious salmon dishes. The town is also home to an impressive collection of standing totem poles.Day 9: Cruise of the Inside Passage
You’ll return back to Vancouver via another cruise journey of the scenic Inside Passage, which is a great time to spot the many unique species of wildlife that inhabit this alluring coastline and take some great photos of sites that you may have previously missed. Make the most of it!
Day 10: End of Cruise - Vancouver
Your cruise ship will arrive back in Vancouver early morning, and upon arrival you’ll make your own way back to your hotel where you’ll spend a further 2 days. This is a great time to take a stroll downtown for some people watching or join a hop-on-hope off bus tour. We recommend that you visit Gastown, an excellent tourist hub with souvenir shops, restaurants, lounges and pubs galore.
Day 11: Vancouver
Your final day in Vancouver can perhaps be spent relaxing on a beach, or if you still feel like you want to explore more, then why not venture out to Victoria, the colourful capital of British Columbia set on Vancouver Island or the iconic mountain resort town of Whistler which has plenty of world-class shopping, dining and nightlife opportunities, as well as scenic hiking trails.
Day 12: End of Tour
The morning will be at leisure for you to do some last minute shopping or sightseeing before heading to Vancouver airport for your flight home.
