Day 6 - 7 : Santa Margarita
After breakfast, drive on main Route 101 for approximately 4 hours and you’ll arrive at your campsite in Santa Margarita. Be sure to stop at Santa Barbara on the way.
Also known as ‘America’s Riviera’, Santa Barbara is a beautiful coastal city with top-notch restaurants and sublime beaches.
Day 7 - 8 : San Luis Obispo
Go back on yourself on Route 101 for 11 miles and turn towards the Pacific Ocean at San Luis Obispo onto California’s epic Route 1. Just an hour from San Luis Obispo
you’ll find the stunning Hearst Castle. Once home to newspaper billionaire William Randolph Hearst, you can spend hours soaking up the splendour of this magnificent
building and its gardens.
Day 8 - 10 : San Francisco
Head north on Route 1 and experience California’s most scenic drive where the mighty Pacific Ocean meets the rugged landscape. Stop off at Carmel and Monterey and be
sure not to miss the famous 17 mile drive where you’ll see the manicured golf courses and multi-million dollar mansions of Pebble Beach. On arrival in San Francisco,
park your RV as soon as you can and start exploring – this is one of the liveliest cities in the Golden State.
Day 10 - 12 : Yosemite
Your next stop is one of California’s natural wonders and one of North America’s most iconic National Parks, welcome to Yosemite. Home to three quarters of a million
acres of scenic beauty and rugged vistas, the spectacular sights of Yosemite will remained etched in your mind for years to come. There are countless outdoor
activities to enjoy whilst here and you’d be mad not to make the most of them.

Your scenic adventure continues as you travel south along Route 395. Prepare to witness incredible views as this road takes you through no less than three fantastic
National Parks: Kings Canyon, Death Valley and Sequoia. Keep an eye out for Mount Whitney, the highest point in the contiguous United States, as well as the lowest,
Bad water Basin in Death Valley.
Day 13 - 14 : Mojave National Preserve
Your journey continues south on Route 395 through Sierra Nevada and onto the barren lands of the Mojave Desert. This relaxing 3 hour drive finishes in the town of
Barstow which was once saw The Old Spanish Trail and Route 66 pass this way.

Day 14 - 16 : San Diego
Travel south until you’re just minutes from the Mexican border, welcome to sunny San Diego. This eclectic city is blessed with an enticing combination of urban entertainment and cultural offerings, and that’s without mentioning San Diego is home to some of the finest beaches in the State.
Day 16 - 17 : Newport Beach
Sophisticated Newport Beach is home to the biggest recreational harbour on the west coast and a full 10 miles of glorious, sun-drenched beach. Water sports are huge here and the laid-back surfer lifestyle seamlessly blends with the high-end shopping and fine dining which is found all over the city.
